Fa yeung nin wah 2000 Love Time is set in a small cramped apartment in 1960s Hong Kong. Two neighbors Tony Leung and Maggie Cheng, who spend a lot of time together, are unsurprisingly when their lives eventually cross, they suspect their spouses are having an affair; however, they also hesitate to enter into a relationship like themselves. Instead, they meet for quiet meals and shy conversations; As they spend time together, they realize that perhaps they are truly made for each other. However, working without a script as usual, director Wong lets the deception story end in a strangely secret and unpredictable way.
