Mar adentro 2004 Mar adentro - The Sea Inside 2004 Movie Ramon Sampedro spent 30 years in bed. After an accident in his youth, his only connection to life is his window overlooking the sea. Two women enter his life: the lawyer Julia and the country girl Rosa. One of these two women gives a paraplegic patient a taste of the meaning of life and provides salvation. This work of Alejandro Amenabar won the second prize in Venice, while the leading actor Javier Bardem received the award for best role.
