During the vibrant days of the 1968 Prague Spring, a daring team of Czechoslovak Radio reporters put everything on the line - not just their careers but their very lives - in order to disseminate unbiased news amidst the chaos of national and regional unrest. In the midst of this turmoil, brothers Tomáš and Pája find themselves entangled in the fight for liberation. Tomáš, the older of the two, works as a radio technician at the station, dedicated to challenging the Communist Party's oppressive censorship, pervasive propaganda, and relentless police intimidation. However, when pressured by security forces to act as a spy, Tomáš is faced with an impossible choice: betray his fellow journalists or safeguard his beloved brother, Pája.
